Director of Research at CNRS, Jean Ginibre (1938-2020) was mathematical physicist. He made major and seminal contributions to the theory of random matrices, statistical physics and partial differential equations. He has been a role model for several generations of mathematicians working on these topics all around the world
This conference wishes to pay a tribute to him through a variety of talks in these fields.
